UP20 ULTRA™ HEAT PUMP

Ruud’s next generation of Ultra™ UP20 heat pump harnesses the power of the new EcoNet® Smart Thermostat to deliver wealth of capabilities to contractors and homeowners. At the same time, whether hot or cold, it delivers several enhancements to improve Installation, Service and overall system performance.

NEW FEATURES

• Charge Mode — Sets indoor and outdoor blower and fan speeds at a constant, allowing the ability to charge like a single stage system.

• Charge Compensator — Ensures that the system will be balanced in both heating and cooling modes.

• Subcool and Superheat Readings — New liquid line transducers and temperature sensors allow viewing of high side pressure, temperature, subcool and superheat at the EcoNet Smart Thermostat.

• True Filter Monitoring — Auto baselining that alerts the homeowner to airflow degradation resulting from a dirty filter.

• Frozen Coil Detection — Sends an alert when ice buildup is on the indoor coil.

• Reduced Breaker Sizes — Up to 50-60A for 4 and 5 ton sizes

EcoNet Smart Thermostat purchased separately. Required for rated performance, Charge Mode, System Monitoring and Alerts.

MATCHUP SUMMARY

All units are matched with 21” air handlers and furnace coils to allow for easy attic installation.

Newly crafted capacity charts appear in the specification showing expanded heating and cooling.
